Default Melb ladies - When to book into the royal womens hospital

Hi guys, Im 10 weeks (1st baby) tomorrow and initially had an appointment with a private midwife when i found out i was pregnant. I will be doing shared care with her and the Royal Womens in Melbourne. She gave me referrals for all the tests i needed (i.e ultrasound etc) and she told me to come back and see her after my 12 week scan. My question and worry really is that I was reading posts about hospitals booking out if you don't get in quick enough and wondering should I be calling to make the booking myself or is this something the midwife needs to do on my behalf. Sorry if this sounds daft but I really have no idea and having a little panic.

I believe the MW will send the referral to the women's.
You can give them a call tomorrow to make sure all is well.

Don't stress, you'll get in! the women's is a large hospital and has the capacity 😊
