Not sure I'll get around to the windows. They have been dirty since we moved in!

I need to sort my clothes but that will have to be another day.

Still playing catch ups. I finally got the laundry shelves done. It was a hideous job but it is done now. Also did the window sills but its not happening with the windows. The latest challenge is one i need to do. I am in the process of shrinking back into my pre pregnancy clothes so i have to pack away all the maternity stuff i have shrunk out of and all my summer stuff to make room for my winter stuff. Gonna take a good few hours.

Give the windows a wash or wipe - remember though, this is only supposed to be 20 or 30 minutes, so just do what you can. A full wash of every window in the house isn’t going to happen . For any outside windows (if you are keen), wash the window, then rinse with a mixture of water and a few caps of dishwasher finish … leaves no drips or water marks and keeps them clean for longer.
Have to skip this one. We are not allowed to clean, wipe, or really go near our windows. They get cleaned every 3 months by landlord.

Today is yours and your partners. We have a 2 year rule in my house .. anything that has not been worn in 2 years is tossed. (This obviously doesn’t apply to my clothes, only DH’s :lol ). If you are squeezed for space, some vacuum space bags are a great investment. Tiered coathangers are also a great space saver.
Did this a few weeks ago, so will sort laundry today instead!

well - given yesterday was Part 1 - you all probably already know what today is

Day 8 - Clothes Cupboards – part II

Kids !!! Bag up for storage/donation/friends any clothes that don’t fit. Put away all the summer stuff if you haven’t already. Re-organise whatever you can … it will only last a day before the kids trash it again … but for that 1 day it will be lovely.

Ok. Already done. My kids only have 3 outfits on rotstion as they wear a school uniform 5 days a week. Whenever i do the washing i donate anything that doesn't fit anymore. Then a buy a replacement outfit in a bigger size.

Baby stuff as my youngest grows out does into a marked nappy box and then when full of that size, i sell.

So far I have achieved 0 of these tasks. I have however had a lovely long weekend away in the country to see family and drink wine. That's kind of the same as house work isn't it ?

Ok so i haven't done windows or any clothes sorting (will get around to the clothes). But tidied the pantry today! One of the doors is broken so we had to move everything to one side and in the process threw out some out of date stuff and moved some appliances into another cupboard.

    I swept the floors today.

Well, floor. Ok, half the floor. And wiped down the bench.

    Pretty darn proud of myself!

Did the kids clothes today but have no storage containers/bags for them so I have a bigger mess everywhere now than when I started!
