Default IVF transfer with a cold

Hello all. I am awaiting my 1st FET in 6 days and have come down with a cold a few days ago. I was hoping I would be better by now, but don't seem to be.
Does having a cold matter for FET? Has anyone had success in a similar situation?

Doesn't matter a bit. It's just like a Pap smear. You lie down, spears your legs, and two seconds later you're out the door. The only thing that matters is your vag. You could be dying and it wouldn't matter.

I had a bad cold the week I had my FET in November. It worked - currently 31+3! I don't think a cold will have any bearing on whether it will work or not so don't let it put you off. Good luck!

@Maisie Lou The only thing further I'll add to @Wise Enough post is that you want to avoid an excessively high fever. That's really the only thing you ever need to worry about when you transfer an embryo. You don't want to overcook them

Take some Panadol if you need to. Won't hurt/harm your embryo or your chances. If you're a bit dubious about it, ring your Clinic to double check ok?? to you Luv

Nothing to worry about. I'm pretty sure I was sick for one of my transfers (all were fresh transfers) and on the last transfer I could barely walk thanks to a bulging disc in my lower back! That little embryo is now crawling around my house chasing after his big sister!

Ive heard its actually better to have a cold, as your immune system is down/distracted/something (can't remember my FS' exact words, but I remember being disappointed I wasn't sick for FET!)
