Default ***Trigger warning*** Mother pushing toddler on a swing...

    http://www.wwmt.com/news/features/na...l#.VWOqf9xdaJJ

This story has really stuck with me. I'm waiting to find out more but at the moment I'm just imagining that she was suffering an insane amount of grief and couldn't stop pushing him because if she stopped pushing him it meant that she had to accept that he was dead.

What an awful situation. It sounds like she was unable to process the grief. My heart breaks for them.

I read this article a couple of days ago and I felt such an intense sadness for this story. It's hard to say more without details of how this came to be but it has also stuck with me. RIP to that little one.

Really horrible - regardless of the background I think every parent / parent to be can relate to the total numbing and hollow sensation this sort of grief brings. I'm not sure I would act in a much more "sane" way dealing with the (what looks so far to be) the unexpected death of my 3 year old.
So devastating. I'm glad that even in this busy "keep to ourselves" world someone noticed and the mother is getting help now.
