Once the POAS can of worms is opened, the lid can never go back on. I wish I could hold out, but Im an early tester.
Have you used a sensitive test? Either a FRER or some ICs are good that read down to beta of 10. It could be an evaporation line, but also could be a BFP starting out. Does the line have colour in it or is it grey? And another thing (as a lady on this very thread discovered- sorry, can't recall username)- did you check it at the full ten minutes, rather then at 3?
The tests do get darker over time, sometimes you won't see a line until the 10 minute mark. And a faint line at 10mins will look darker then next day.
Are you going to test again?

The only reason why i started down the dark road of POAS is because my Beta is on wednesday and i will be at work and i have 3 meetings scheduled for the day. I didn't want to receive a phone call from my clinic saying Sorry or Congrats and not know how to react. SO we thought early testing would be best.

I used a first response strip test (first time ive used this particular test - although i have used this brand before and ive never seen a 2nd line). Pretty sure i waited the 10mins. But i was really emotional this morning so who knows. the line is more of a pink than grey.

But i will be testing again in 2 days to see if there is any change. Thank you for your help

Stay positive @Myshell87 I have my fingers crossed for you.

I'm currently relaxing on the couch after my EPU this morning, the whole process was easy and relaxing the sedation was great, and I'm not in too much pain yet thank god and they got 9 eggs 😊
We were supposed to be doing ICSI but had a call to say DHs sperm is perfect so they will let them do there own thing in the dish which I'm really happy about as less intervention and if it doesn't work we still have another option (that's just how my mind works) so fingers crossed we get some that have fertilised have to call up tomoro morning to find out 😁😁

Myshell87, I know what you feel!
Did you try the FRER which is a ********* one? (the one you put under the ******, not into the vial)? They say the ********* one is the most sensitive...I saw the pale second line on the FRER on my 6dpt5dt, the next day tried another brand I've found in my bathroom cabinet from the earlier times - and another one showed just the ghost line which made me cry the whole morning...
Well, today another FRER showed a quite convincing second line giving me some relief (but I still not 100% sure - I think this time I will believe it's real only in the birth ward

6d probably also is a bit early, I heard from ladies who saw bfp only on day 10 or 11...

Thanks @Irinkon i think i will go and buy some FRER tests. Im personally not a huge fan of dip tests anyway.

Congrats and good luck with your testing!

Been following along this thread as I was going to start another cycle but haven't as yet... Just wanted to say, don't give up. This happened our first cycle, we did ivf and collected 9 eggs, zero fertilized. Next cycle ICSI, 6 eggs, 3 made it to blast, 2 FETs later and we have a gorgeous 2.5 year old. Do not give up, you obviously responded well to meds, you will be fine. They say the first cycle is really a trial run. Best of luck to you!

Preranapj07- so sorry about the results but please don't lose hope. You specialist should now be looking at how they can improve egg quality. Sometimes having too many eggs collected could mean some were not mature enough. Optimum eggs for egg collection is around 15 I think. . I've been in the same position with heaps of eggs collected and none resulting in a baby. Maybe a change in protocol and a lower stimming may help. There are lots of different things to improve egg quality. What did your fs say?

Extremely nervous about BT today, hopefully all the random symptoms aren't just from the drugs haha!
