Caesardust - my last and current cycles I have done hrt fet's. I was put on this type of cycle as my first fet was too unpredictable and I didnt react as expected to the stimulating drugs for ovulation think I had become resistant. Have to say the hrt protocol is so much easier to control and reliable also less scans and bt needed. I cant say how well they work in comparison yet though as haven't had a bfp. The only down side is you produce no natural progesterone so have to stay on both progesterone support and estrogen throughout your first trimester if you get your bfp. Hope it works for you hun.

@Heyside thanks so much for that. I have read about the negatives of the drugs particularly those pessaries 😁. I have unexplained infertility so it seems to be a guessing game at the moment. With each failed cycle I'm getting a little smarter I think and ask more questions. I google all these terms and feel so much more informed after joining bubhub!! Thank god for all of you lovely ladies xxxx

No worries hun the pessaries aren't too bad once you get use to them. I am supposed to be on 3 a day, one being at lunch time (not practical when you you have to lie down for half an hour) but luckily I have some crinone I can use instead. Hope the change in protocol works for you and if you have any questions then feel free to ask.

Well it was a BFN for me yesterday so the whole cycle was a failure. No more embryos, only had the one that even kinda made it to day 5. Have an appt with specialist next week but due to the total failure of all my eggs I suspect she might not recommend any more cycles. (This was only our first ever).
Fingers crossed I don't have to give up on my dream just yet but not feeling too hopeful.
Think I am gonna have a break from BH for a while coz everything baby is making me upset right now.
All the best to all of you and I hope there are a lot of BFP's in this group in the future x

@FiBub76 - so sorry to hear the news. It's such a heartbreaking process, but don't loose hope. The first cycle is quite often trial and error. Your specialist has probably got options to mix things up and hopefully get you better results in future.
Stay strong and do something nice for yourself. Sending big hugs your way xx
