I finished mine about three days before I had my daughter.. and I was 2 weeks overdue.

My kids have never had a nursery. They stay with me until they are ready to move out usually somewhere around age 3.

Started when i was 37 weeks, still going now and DD is 7 months old. And i agree with wait till after bubs comes. I wouldnt have painted the colours i did if i had waited till after

We thought we'd have DS in with us for the first few months, but kicked him out after night one as he was such a noisy sleeper and I'm a super light sleeper! Lol, poor bub! So we hadn't got his nursery ready beforehand and then had to try to do it in a rush as his bassinet was shoved in between jumbled bits of furniture and boxes :/
So next one we'll be getting it ready by about 30 weeks, with dust covers over everything, so we're ready to go.
