Roast rack of lamb with roast veg and garlic bread. We told DS we were eating like rich people since we had a rack. He kept saying, oooo I'm rich, I got a crunchy rich bit

This is an experiment. Will report on success or failure.

Crumbed shallow fried tofu on a brown rice pilaf-y thing. Prob served with soy or sweet chilli sauce or something.

Oven baked hoki in a butter sauce with zesty breadcrumb topping, boiled baby potatos and a swiss chard, mushroom and pastachio stir fry.

Everyone ate so much they were too full for desert!

Got some fabulously thick steaks for DP and I. Having jacket potatoes and veges. Kids are having chicken kievs instead of steak. Can't wait. Been wanting a good steak for aaaages!
