Hi ladies, i'm new around here. I've lurked for a while getting up the courage to join in

As i've just posted in the PCOS thread, i'm about to start my first cycle of clomid (probably next weekend). i'm a bit nervous of the side effects and how badly i'll experience them. am going to try and minimise any effects by taking it at nighttime, so we'll see.

with my PCOS i strongly suspect that i'm one of the ones that just doesn't O (or O often) - current cycle is more than 150 days, previous one was 53 days - so i suspect i'll be needing a trigger shot. I asked my FS about that and he said we'd see how i go on my 1st cycle of 50mg clomid without one, and see if we need to increase the dose and/or a trigger shot after that.

not especially looking forward to the monitoring to be honest, i have really deep veins so taking blood is always a bit of an ordeal, let alone having to go through the ultrasound. but needs must i guess!
