    Default favourite birthday party

what is the best birthday party / celebration you have had?

I think mine was definitely my 30th. I had a party at home, and it was just the right kind of vibe. so much fun

I loved my 18th! So much fun and so many laughs. I've got footage taken from the party and it is so awesome to watch! Ahhh to be 18 again....

Definitely my 21st. I hired a function room at a pub and had a 'dress as your favourite movie star' theme. Then when the pub closed we walked down the road and found my fave cover band was playing at another place so continued the party there. It was the last birthday I had both my brothers here (1 lives overseas, 1 lives interstate) so was awesome to have a night out with them, plus my friends.

It has been a very long time since I had a birthday party (20 plus years) I think my 10th was probably my favourite. I had a few girl sleepover and we dressed up in mums clothes and went go a walk around the neighbourhood with my dad. It's a fun memory.

My 21st. My parents had a big gourmet BBQ at their house. I had all my friends and family come. It was so much fun!

My 21st. I had a joint party with one of my best friends.
    It was an awesome party.
I didn't have a 30th because of horrid morning sickness but on the day of my birthday I actually felt great so my dad took DS for the night and DF went out for a romantic dinner.

I'd have to say my 21st too!

We had it at my parents house - great food, great company, good range of drinks (including cocktails and Midori punch). Such a fun night

I had had a biggish 18th, so for my 21st my Parents and my sisters and now DH went out for dinner. it was lovely.

I always remember my 10th birthday as well. I had 3 sisters - so birthday parties were fairly rare as we always shared. My self esteem wasnt that great in those days - my sisters were always prettier and smarter and had more friends and I always felt like a bit of a nothing

anyway - my parents had a friend who was kind of an adopted brother to us - he would have been about 21 or so at the time - and he and I were quite close. He always made me feel like I was special .. that I was worthwhile and important. On my 10th birthday he had come for dinner, and I remember him chasing me around the house having a water fight . It wasnt anything much - just a memory that always stuck with me

(He is now 50 odd, has beautiful twins a bit younger than Katie, and is still a very firm family friend)

Hmmm...probably my 17th birthday. Kicked my parents out for the night (they stayed with my grandparents) and I had my closest girlfriends round for a sleep over. We ate junk food, watched movies, listened to music...all the usual fun sleepover type stuff. Had the best night. I haven't really had any birthday parties since then!
