Default Fun things to do on the Gold Coast - surfers paradise

So I'm looking for some fun things to do in surfers paradise - or anywhere else that is accessible by public transport

Would love to experience movie world etc but I just don't think we can afford it

So the cheaper the better, mainly things that my kiddies will enjoy (2 boys, 4 and 1)

Hit me with your best ideas

There's putt putt golf there. Some fabulous parks accessible by bus at both Broadbeach and southport.

There are plenty of parks along the beach with playgrounds.

    Putt putt

Monorail between Jupiter's Casino and the oasis shopping centre (more useful if you're staying around there as you could go over to the casino for lunch)

If you want a night out the Australian Outback Spectacular isn't bad. Your 4yo might like the horses, not sure about the 1yo though.

A friend was looking for cheap theme park tix the other day and this was posted on her FB wall.

Carrara markets on a Saturday have things for kids too. Last time I was there they had face painting, jumping castle etc. There are also the Broadbeach markets.

You could go up Q1 and check out the view. You do have to pay though, but the view is amazing.

Currumbin wildlife sanctuary is also good. Unless your kids are terrified of birds!

O'Reilly's in the Lamington national park has some beautiful walks and they used to do bird feeding too.

Springbrook national park has some beautiful walks too. The glow worm cave walk is popular at night too.

Hope that helps give you some ideas at least
