Does it count that I'm counting down the days at 64 days left?

Hey ladies, sorry I've been out of the loop for a while. Had some pretty strong pre-labour, contractions 5 mins apart for 2 hours and throwing up like there was no tomorrow. Went to hosp and turned out I was in labour....but it was brought on by gastro, and as soon as they got the IV hydration going, everything stopped 😒. So I've spent the last few days in hospital feeling like death. Bleugh. So @ScubaGal, I really hear you on the whole being pregnant forever thing! It's so frustrating isn't it! I hope everything happens for you soon...will keep fingers crossed!
Hope everyone else is travelling well!

Default Anyone else counting down the days?

@Silver flute wow that's rough you poor thing
Gastro is awful. I hope your child didn't catch it too?
I hear it's one of the worst germ to get ride off on surfaces etc which is why it spreads so easily.

    How are you feeling now?

I'm thinking of starting on EPO soon to help with labour...

Oh wait I get it, Evening Primrose Oil. Duh.
Meanwhile I've just discovered FIL is posting on Facebook about me being overdue.

    Way to go.

May I join you ladies? 14 more days to go. This is my first . seems to go on forever though. can't wait to get this part over with and meet the baby. Also being terrified about labour and birth isn't helping πŸ˜•

I have about 15 weeks & 3 days to go til my scheduled CS. I've now hit the "I'm over being pregnant" stage. Suddenly, 3rd trimester is in sight! But, I know how much the last 3 months lags. Sigh!

Good luck to all the Mummas in waiting! Very exciting

Thanks @ExcuseMyFrench. Yeah gastro is awful...my toddler is staying with her dad to make sure she doesn't get it. I miss her so badly!
Re the EPO, I took it last pregnancy and my obstetrician told me that it had been found to prolong the second stage of labour (he told me this after 26 hours of active labour mind you). I tried to read up on it this pregnancy, but the only studies I could find were seriously underpowered and most of the studies were behind a paywall that I couldn't access. Just something to keep in mind...? @ScubaGal, I can't believe your FIL. That is so not on. I'm so sorry you've got that to deal with as well as all the assorted late pregnancy discomforts.
Welcome @BeingPositive! Hope everything goes smoothly for you and bubba is in your arms soon! @Falkor...go the third trimester! Downhill run from here!
