    Default movies 8 yr old movie arvo

    My son is turning 8 in a few weeks and i am going to invite 2 friends over and watch a movie and have pizza and popcorn so movie then dinner and then home, so from 3pm -7.30pm. (my son is autistic and HAS to go to bed at 8pm every day or he just falls asleep where he stands).

    what would be good movies to show? I want a movie all the kids have not seen too.

    so far for ideas i have

    Ace Ventura
    Gremlins
    The Mummy

    and now i am stuck. help!

    I was thinking monty python and the holy grail but the women of anthrax......i am not sure the other parents would approve

    I think it is PG. I would stick to something with a G rating for an 8 year old's birthday party

    Alexander and the no good, terrible, very bad day

    Most of the movies you've listed would be too scary for my 8.5 y/o DD and I'd be really unhappy with her being shown them at a party. I think if it's not G rated, you need to speak to the kids' parents beforehand at that age.

    I will be talking to the parents before hand. It is only 2 kids and i know their parents. I just more want ideas so i have a list in case one of the kids is a movie buff like my kids are.
