Hugs to you and best wishes to your dad. My mum is in surgery tomorrow to remove some of an aggressive brain tumour. It's scary. Fingers crossed your dad makes a speedy recovery

Oh hon they are so rigid with the pre-prepping procedures etc and timings etc, so it's hard to do good byes when you're the loved one left behind waiting, I know my DH felt the same, it was all so rushed by the time I was sent into the prepping room. I feel for you, and I know your Dad would have been feeling your pain too, but I also know he would be feeling your love as well hon.

its scary, but have faith that he will be fine. They do so much these days ... he will be up and about before you know it.

All I've done all afternoon is stuff my face with pods... 😢

Only half an hour to go before he's supposed to be done in surgery. **** I hope it's not much longer

Hey SAgirl - as someone who has sat around waiting for their fiancée to come out of open heart surgery - don't stress if they're not on time.

Fingers crossed all goes well. Thinking of you.

Don't be surprised if it takes a little longer though. I have been checking in through the day to see how things have been going.
