Switched back for the end... What was the point of this challenge? An elimination for an elimination? Kind of a waste of time IMO

I think the point of the challenge was it was the only way they could make Reynold cook something other than dessert

MissKitty - can he ever!!! OMG...
I think that MPW, like the judges, is great. I truly think that he really actually gives a **** about the contestants and is trying to teach them. There is a lot of focus on the scowling etc but they also show what appears to be genuine care and concern. Someone who was as much of an ******** as people try to make him out to be wouldn't have those moments too. The other telling thing (to me) is that the judges and contestants (afterwards at least ) genuinely seem to like him and I've read things about how much he helps them too =D

I agree Catkin, Marco has a strict exterior and I'm sure it would be stressful working for him but I can see he genuinely cares that the contestants learn and do their best. I can see a softer side. And like lolly, a naughty side

I know it's got nothing to do with this year's show, but I saw Callum Hann from Series 2 of Masterchef this morning, running a school holiday cooking class for kids at my local shopping centre. Just thought that was pretty cool.
I haven't watched this year's show much lately - I'm so far behind on what's been happening.
