Happy mum happy kids I say, I'd take the job for 2 days and you'll end up getting extra hours. Also allows everyone to adjust to you returning to work.

Return to work dilemma
I'd take the second job. It basically gives you 10extra hours a week with your kids compared to the first job.
Commute is a killer and adds stress to an already stressful work day.
2 extra hours a day with your kids is time to have breakfast as a family. It's time to play at night or supervise home work.
It's quality time!
As a FT working parent I would sacrifice a lot to be able to live and work in the same area.
