What would you like your Mothers Day to be like?

Dd1 is coming home for mothers day and my birthday so I am over the moon.
We are flat broke so there won't be any presents or a special lunch but I don't care. I will have all six kids home and that's all that matters.

I don't ever really think about Mother's day. I don't know why but I don't think about my birthday either and I never ask for presents on Christmas. They're just days to me. Wow I sound so jaded but really I'm not I just love everyday of my life without trying to sound to corny. But I do really enjoy getting pasta necklaces and things from the Mother's Day stall. I like seeing my kids faces happy and excited to get me something.

I would like to be remembered this year. After the fuss I made last year when DH didn't get me anything, I'm pretty sure he will remember this year.

Ultimate wish? Hubs would buy me a bathtub that my 6 ft 1 body could actually fit in, kids have breaky in bed with me then he whisks them all away for the whole day while I soak in a hot tub that I can wet my toes, knees and chest in all at once and without havinb limbs sticking out at awkward angles. Kids return mid afternoon and in my super relaxed state we go have a picnic either at the beach or botanical gardens. Oh and I wouldn't have to do ANY dishes.
What I'm getting?
Dss 1 has got me bath bom thingys
Dss 2 I *think* has gotten me some sort of coffee thing - the kid knows me well lol.
(Im taking them shopping for their mum in the next few days)
And from DD I have no clue yet. I will soon because the boys know and they are excited and silly everytime DDs present gets mentioned lol.
All in all i know spending the day in my pjs with all of them here will be waaay better than getting all wrinckly in a 6 hour bath
... or I keep telling myself

I would love a sleep in & breakfast in bed. Then I would love to go out for a nice relaxing, child free lunch with my mum, and then a family dinner at home.
In reality...I will be up early with the kids, probably have my mum round for breakfast (which I will cook), and then that will be about it.
This is my 4th Mother's Day and DH has never made an effort like I do for him on Father's Day (as our kids are too little to do much yet). I haven't said much and I'm waiting to see whether he even remembers and at least buys a card or something, but I'm not holding my breath.

I would love to have my two DSS here that weekend as it is our scheduled weekend and they havent met thier new brother yet but we always offer mothers day to bm cause fair is fair so its up to her. I would love a kid made card from all the kids and dp to be extra helpful that day. Not gonna happen though.

Every year since I've become a mum, we have had to go for breakfast with MIL and the other inlaws. It's always all about mil, and then hubby goes to the football in the afternoon.
This year it's going to be a hard one as my mum has moved away so won't see her the day before like I usually do, and it's 2 days before I was due with the baby I lost. Due to ivf we don't have money for presents or going out, so I put my foot down and said I want breakfast in bed made by my 4 year old DD. I know she will love making me toast and fruit salad, and spending a morning in bed not rushing to go anywhere will make it the best Mother's Day so far!
