@rainbow road I don't know if you guys have thought about it but is there anyway that your DP can use your embryos to continue trying? I know you couldn't get more sperm from the donor but does he still have a family spot that she could use by carrying yours? Just a thought.

How is she feeling about switching back over? Must be really hard πŸ˜”

She can't use my existing embryos regardless, as they weren't created with the intention of being donated to her.

We would do a donor stim cycle if we could afford it, but she can't use the same donor as me anyway, because it goes by birth mother, no biological mother. She could donate her eggs to me though, and I could use the same donor. We have been considering it.

Oh wow I didn't know that you had to state they were being donated before hand. We have all the paper work to fill out for that because they know we will be using each other's embryos but didn't realise that you couldn't still do it after the fact.

When you say she can't use the same is that because they have been removed here in NSW/reached their limit?

Hmm... Well hopefully you find a way that works for you and that you are both happy with 😊

Yeah he's reached his quota. Hoping the laws change soon!

We are happy with doing a FET with me. ultimately we want a second baby and a sibling for Toby, and who carries that baby or it's genetic make up don't really matter amongst all that

Yep we will find out at the anatomy scan in around 7 weeks.
So far about 90% of people (out of about 100) say they think it's a boy based on the nub theory. We hope slightly more it's a boy but really don't care either way. 😊

@almai... See I was going to say girl based on nub theory. It looks horizontal which is exactly the same as ours

I also thought girl!!! Hmm this could end up being my first wrong "guess".

Not that it matters but is there a reason you guys would prefer a boy @almai? I've gone back and forth with preference but ultimately like everyone else, just want a healthy bub.
