It's really kind of frustrating. I write slips for patients and take their blood all day every day and now I have to wait. I hate being on the other end.

Wonderful news A&S and Maxine!!! Woohooo! Twins! 👫

We are onto day 5 of lucrin jabs for DP.
@almai, you're a nurse, aren't you? I accidentally jabbed myself with DPs needle last night. A needle stick injury is only a problem because of transmission of disease etc isn't it? So I don't need to worry, because I know DP is all clean?

Rainbow road, I'm a nurse. If all DPs tests are clear then you are totally fine.

I tested my progesterone on the first BT I did but haven't had it checked since. Definitely worth getting the extra BTs for reassurance IMO. Meant when we got the official beta result from CFC we knew the doubling time. Also since mine was over 200 on OTD (it was 451) the clinic said I didn't need another. I couldn't stand not knowing so I had another one just to check! And then had another one yesterday after I had some spotting - at that point it was nearly 22000 so thought we might have twins on board!

I'm not a nurse but have worked as a body piercer and work in disability now. As a&s said, it's only a problem if she had a disease or illness. You should be A-ok
And yay for being back into the swing of things

@A&S, I had progesterone checked aswell as QHCG as I was on progesterone support and they wanted to check that my levels didn't drop.

Yeh maybe I'll just get some slips then get the girls at work to take my bloods every 2 days and had it in to melbournepath!
I'll get go to put progesterone on as well.

@maxinem2112, I had 'twin level' hcg numbers but I just ended up with 1 super strong baby and a side of HG boo
I remember having my scan expecting to see 2 and was a little disappointed to see 1 (although was still super super excited!!)
I love twins and triplets etc. I wonder what sex your babies will be. I'm going to live vicariously through you so please update us as you go!

Yeah it's easy to just tack the extra test on, they are taking your blood anyway. And it's another thing you can see looking stable to help calm the nerves.

I'm also completely obsessed with twins. I asked FS to transfer 2 and he flat out refused I'm going to be super happy just to have one strong healthy baby though.
