Planning and the positivity here is getting us excited now( hesitantly) very different to how I was feeling a month ago after the last failed Ivf ( no good eggies), thankfully this site exists to connect people. And the forum I was on 40 and Ivf (not bubhub)was super depressing.
I don't talk about this stuff anymore to anyone other than dh, which at times can be excruciating as it seems like the most important thing and everything else is just trivial ( maybe tmi) but I guess my question is what and who do you share this journey with outside of this forum.

Girls from the forums... We have coffee sometimes etc. It's good to catch up with others who are in SA when you're there too. No one 'in real life' so to speak, gets it, outside of one lady from work who is also doing ivf.

I have support from my staff, others I've met on forums and friends. It's been far more supportive than I could have guessed but moving to DE overseas was far more uplifting than the prospect of using an Australian donor.

Congratulations @Seahorse1 - I can't wait to be in that position @ferngirl I just wish nobody knew now. It was all very exciting and interesting in the beginning (yes really) and all my family and DP's family know, but now I'm just sick of talking about it. A few people at work knew, but now as far as they are concerned my ivf journey is over - and yes it is (with my own eggs) so I don't even have to lie when I say 'my eggs are too bad a quality so I'm not wasting any more money on them'. And now, I'm going to 'miraculously' fall pregnant while on holiday in CT. It seems ridiculous that I have to try not to lie about something that is no-ones business anyway. Everyone has good intentions and I'm lucky that everyone is very understanding and always interested in finding out how its going, but boy oh boy am I tired of talking about it.

So it seems we can get in for lunch at the Test Kitchen on one of our last few days in CT - dinner is booked out until January 2016
