Thanks @KMP I've put that on our list of must do's. It looks a long way on the map, do you remember how long it took?

No word yet from original donor and in the interim donors I like through other agencies are being snapped up... might be time to back away for a month or so and stop looking until we have dates for my husband's travel as we have to work around that anyway... driving myself crazy!
@Lisaxxx, @Cathy69, @TannyMac how are you all going?

    Em x
    Hi Em
I'm going ok back to work tomorrow 😒. I have no idea what the outcome is and will test on Friday. I've been really tired the last few days so hoping that's a good sign.

I hope you hear that your previous donor will go again.

I did safari straight after my transfer for 3 days. Im sure it helped the little emby stick as it had to hang on for dear life! My little boy is now 18months old and loves all animals!!

Leyshoja a few hours only. We left after leisurely breakfast stopping off for views and at my friend's family friends along the way for a good cuppa and snacks. Back at the Strand early afternoon but gorgeous coastline. We went down along the highway on the more direct route.

Leyshoja - I did the Hermanus drive when I was there in May and it really is a lovely drive and easy day trip there, lunch and back. If memory serves me, it was about 75-90 mins from Cape Town. I had lunch at Bientang's Cave which is on the coast top walk but you walk down stairs off the cliff and it is a resturant tucked into a cave with most of the tables and chairs sitting on the rock at water level. Great spot for Whale watching; great service and good food !

Emski - sorry to hear about your Neg result. Bugger hey.

AFM, I arrived back in Aus Friday after my 3rd trip to CT in 12 months; hit the path lab for Bloods on Sat and again on Monday and tested my patience as I didn't get either result until this afternoon but all is good. At 5w1d, HCG was 7,805 and 5w3d 14,920 so nice and solid (and yes I had 2 transferred so ....). I have booked in for the scan this Friday which will be right on 6w and we should be able to see sacs etc without issue and hopefully heartbeat/s. Have also booked my first OB appt with the 9w scan as well. Hopefully the scan will continue with good news - I am doing my best just to take one step at a time because we all know a BFP isn't the guarantee we would all love.

Congratulations Cathy! Sounds like it's all on track. That drive/restaurant sounds amazing, might have to add that into our trip.
Lisaxxx work will help with keeping your mind off the TWW. Got it all crossed for you x
