    Hi everyone.

Sorry i’ve been quiet, so much was happening.

Canuck – I am so very sorry about your miscarriage I. I know it’s hard, painful and devastating. I hope you’re being good to yourself, especially on the bad days. I am glad you’ve decided to try again and not give up just yet. You have 10 precious frosties waiting for you, and I believe one of them will be your baby.

It’s great to read all the good news on scans and tests.

AFM – Finally had myD & C on the 7th, and my body can now heal as I plan my FET.

Lisa, someone else on here recommended Ulungele tours who go to Inverdoorn. I enjoyed the trip there with Hank as much as I did the safari. He provided a great perspective on South Africa.

    Just some words re specialists.

Most medical specialists are type A personality, focused on knowledge and technique and unfortunately not a lot of social skills. It's a known fact.

In Australia it became mandatory that other interpersonal skills etc are tested prior to acceptance into medical schools.

All I'm trying to point out is that they couldn't have the registration if they haven't passed the exams but finding a doctor that has it all can be difficult. At the end of the day you just need to trust their skills and knowledge base.

As long as the skills are there I'm not fussed about too much else. To be honest personality would usually be a bonus.

I'm getting excited to start jabbing on Wed!!! Still torn with transferring one or two, don't think we would cope with twins or if my body would... those who have done FET if you thaw 2 do you have to use both or can you re-freeze? I've only ever had one Blasty to transfer from my OE cycles...

    Hi Emski

I wrote out a reply but Bubhub ate it!

Wow, that is coming around so quickly.

I hadn't heard of refreezing before you asked the question. Do you know if the clinic does this procedure and how successful it is?

Apart from my last OE transfer mine were always doubles and I signed a consent prior to transfer day. If they do refreeze I guess you would need to let them know in advance so that they are set up just in case.

Let us know what you find out and also decide to do.

    Sunny

I have no idea if its even possible...probably not. I have one that is pretty decent at 4AB and on that's a bit questionable as a pre-blast so I'm torn whether to defrost/transfer both...actually they might be frozen together so I might have to thaw both... I think I'll see how they look on the day and take it from there... Gawd they both might not thaw, who knows!?

Emski, whoohoo...I cant believe your going back in a few weeks.

If they're like food rules you can't freeze, defrost then freeze again, but who knows. If I go back for a third I'll have my 2 transferred as I can't leave one there, plus ones a moralur so chances are it won't take anyway.
