    Default Provera experiences

Hi - just after some of your experiences with provera to bring on AF. How many days did you take it for and how soon did AF arrive?
    Thanks

It was variable for me. I have my records filed away as I'm now 27 weeks pregnant from ivf (I am meticulous about every tablet/injection I take, every blood test/scan etc anal much? You bet!). Last time I took it was the worst I think it took more than a week after I stopped it. Very frustrating. Personally hate provera makes me feel like crap mood wise and gives me break outs! Let me know if you want specific timeframes and I'll post them tomorrow for you. Hope this helps.

I have taken provera a few times and haven't had any problems, well none that stood out. I took 1 tablet twice a day for I think 5 days. Then I think about 5-7 days later I got my AF.
Sorry I can't be much help - but remember each body copes with any drug in different ways- so what one person has doesn't mean you will! 😊

I've taken it many times. I've always taken it for 5 days then got AF 5-7 days later. I never had any side effects.

I don't get AF without it and always had an average dose of provera so I'm sure it will work for you xx

This is really strange. My OB prescribes this to me to prevent bleed and you all were using it to bring on AF.

If you keep taking it, it would delay AF. Its stopping it and the hormone drop that brings on AF.
