    Hey guys,
Well we just got back from our appointment with the specialist today.
    So... here goes nothing..
he gave him Provera to restart a period then on to 100mg Clomid and 1000mg of Metaformin (so 500mg twice daily) Then he wants to scan at day 7-8 and maybe do FSH injections at well if I am under stimulating.. So its going to be A VERY BIG 6 or so weeks for me coming up.

I am a little terrified and worried and a bit stressed trying to swing all of this with work.. (my work is difficult to change start and finish times ) but I guess the things we do to try and make this work.. Hubby is super keen and my sister is really supportive so I am glad to have that help so I can call and msg her when ever I need.

    So big time coming ahead..
I am hoping the metaformin and 100mg will work with out having to have the FSH.. so

Hi Mellie, did you start the metormin at the same time as the provera or did you start it on CD 1? It was a little unclear..

I've been on metformin for years. I just started when I got them. If your dr is okay with it highly recommend working up to the 1000g. 2 or 3 days at 500g them moving up to 1000g made it so much easier for me.

Yeah I ended up going to GP for infected wound lol so accident prone at the moment I am going to work my way up. She said that was best with Metformin. I am feeling positive. So just have to geg through aAF on provera then go from there.

I'm not entirely sure. I think that's what the fasting blood test tells you but I've never had one of those

I didn't have a fasting blood test, BUT when talking to the GP she said it not always about " insulin resistance" but because your hormonal levels arent right ur pancreas starts working over time... I think. So just because u have PCOS its put huge strain on the rest of your hormones as well. I am willing to try it any way.

2 nd days on it and so far feeling pretty good no crazy side ffects just yet.
