    Default Thinning hair anyone? Cures?

Hi all, my hair thinning and falling out. It's due to PCOS that I had in the past. Did anyone find any cures to make hair come back of look thicker? Thank you

I don't have pcos, I had pp hair loss (lost about half 3-6 mths pp)
and I was told to keep taking folate supp. I started back on them at 6mths pp. Not sure if it worked or if my hair was going to stop shedding anyway after 6mths pp though

So your hair stopped falling out? Grew back? Thicker. Or did I misread.

At 6 mths pp it stopped shedding. And by 9 mths pp it was growing back. Now at 13 mths pp it's thicker yes!!

Thank you, I've had this issue for 15 years and it's getting worse. I don't think folate will help me. 😔

I have the same issue due to my PCOS hun unfortunately something I have got use to over the years. I suppose I am fortunate in some ways that I seem to have a lot of it so not so obvious to others, just poor Dh who finds my hair everywhere . If you find any cures would love to hear them but seen as its a hormonal thing I suppose the only way of dealing with it is stabalising the hormones which is impossible for me at the moment.

I do blood tests and my hormones are fine. I really don't know. I have like bald patches and considering putting a wig on. That's extreme.

Oh sounds like you are really suffering, I would be seeing your gp to see if there are any other reasons for your hair loss if your bloods show all is good with hormones. There has to be a reason for it. My hormones are all over the place.

We have done test, seen dermatologist. They want to put me on tablets that help not to lose hair. But there also blood pressure tabs and I would prob feel faint cause I already have low blood pressure.
