Default Any single ladies TTC with donor sperm?

As the title suggests I am looking to TTC with donor sperm. As I have never had problems falling pregnant, and after a rather traumatic experience after losing my little girl at 38+2, I am hoping to avoid IVF. Unfortunately, the clinics where I live (Canberra) tend not to offer IUI when using donor sperm, as the chance of pregnancy is less than through IVF. I would love to hear from anyone who has used donor sperm, whether though 'traditional' AI or through a fertility clinic, or anyone currently going through the process.

Hi @Tainted I'm in a same sex couple so have looked at donor sperm at various clinics. Canberra Fertility Clinic do IUDI (sperm ordered from Xytex). Have you spoken to them?

I'm also really sorry about your experience last pregnancy - you may be sick of hearing people say that but I didn't want to ignore what you what you have been through.

Fertility east in Sydney do IUI with donor sperm (also from Xytec I think).. They specialise in singles and same sex couples wanting to conceive. Ivf / donor sperm worked for me through them.

@Tainted - I would avoid CFC with a ten foot pole! We had an awful experience with them and several of our friends have too!

Fertility first in Hurstville do IUI with donor sperm, in fact Dr Clark won't usually let you start ivf without trying. They use xytex as their Cryo and also have a few local donors.

I went through them to conceive DS and had a wonderful experience.

Fertility East in bondi also do, they use the Californian cryobank for their sperm.
