DD didn't get any teeth till 9 months old & she's been happily eating toast, muffins, zucchini slice, fritters, cheese, roast or steamed veggies (broccoli & sweet potato wedges are a couple of favs), stews, beans, chicken & veg nuggets, felafels, meatballs etc since 6 months.
Her favourite meal is roast dinner - just throw a few chunks of everything on her tray & she goes for it.
As pp's have said anything you can squish should be fine.
It's a bit easier for her now she has a couple of teeth but she managed fine with her gums for quite some time!
