I recently started crocheting to help me quit smoking (it worked, I've been smoke free for over a month!) My friend taught me basics and I learned the rest from youtube and pinterest. Its so relaxing and gives me such a sense of accomplishment.
I thought it would be nice to have a place to share our work and talk about all things crocheting!!!

Yes I do. Baby dress and blankets are probably what I make most but I have made bags, toys etc

I've recently restarted and so am starting from basics. I stole an idea from a friend of mine that I'm currently working on.
It's basically a big grammy blanket backed with that fluffy-but-not-mink material stuff as wool makes me itch SO much.
Also, @LoveLivesHere OMG SHE WAS SO SQUISHY!!!

I get bored easily so prefer small projects but I'm currently working on a throw blanket. I'm trying to just make my work neater because to me it still looks a bit messy.
So far I have mastered single crochet, double crochet and half double crochet stitch.

I really want to get back into it but it's hard to find time at the moment. I also want to start sewing again
