I have noticed that there are heaps of forums for people trying to conceive.
But I'm having trouble finding people trying for baby number one.
I think it helps to chat to people in the same situation.
Look forward to hearing from you all soon 😄

hi gemima, I'm trying for baby #1 with dh. I think there's already a couple of very similar threads on here atm?

I've looked through the ones that pop up on my list and they all have people discussing 3rd pregnancies and things like that.
Or no one has written anything in a couple of months.
Wanted to start fresh and see who else is around 😊

Umm... Officially 8 months? But looking back we haven't tried very hard in the bd-ing department hehe. I've started charting and getting acupuncture last cycle so have a better understanding of what's going on so hopefully it won't be too much longer!
How about yourself?

I am TTC #1 with DH. We have been TTC since December, with a couple of long cycles coming off the pill. How is everyone else going with the journey?

Sounds like we are all at similar stages in our lives. I think I've been "trying" around 6-8 months. But have only been actively trying this month. I have issues with my hormones so highly unlikely I will get the bfp anytime soon. Just want to find out if I O at all.
Where's everyone from? I'm 25 from Sydney 😊

when we all say "not trying that hard", like how much bd is really enough to say yeah we are really trying? I feel like his do you know if you are doing it enough?? we've only gotten in 1 or 2 (3 at most haha) bd's around ovulation time so I feel that's a pretty poor effort. I would like to aim for every other day from about cd 10 to a few days after I o (just to be sure). I feel this would be enough to constitute a real try. dunno though really....maybe that's overkill. a bit tmi I guess, sorry.

Never tmi. That's why we're here. I think that's a great effort. As long as you're still enjoying the BD. You don't want conception to be another job. By actively trying, I mean personally, I am tracking bbt, cm and cp. some say it's best to do the BD the entire week leading up to O and then a few days after. I've recently been informed not to do it too often. I just think it shouldn't be forced. Sometimes too much planning is extra stress we don't need! My friend tried for 5 years, gave up trying and fell pregnant straight away.
