I think removal of fibroids depends on each individual and the size and position of them. Best to consult your FS. My FS didn't worry I guess cause of the size etc. Best of luck for number 13!! bless you, I know how hard it is.xxx

@Bongley that's freakin fabulous as it means you will cash up at Medicare!!! You have to take the receipt from GENEA that says paid on it, otherwise they won't accept it. It's over $1000 you get back from a stim cycle once you're over the safety net so its size able.
@SpotTheOcelot another great story of longevity and persistence! Thanks for sharing, any other details you want to share in terms of what you did leading up to your success are always welcome too. Gives us all hope, something we constantly need!
@BlondeinBrisvegas thanks for your wisdom and encouragement, I've sometimes felt like a crazy infertile woman with these specialists, at the day of the day though, they don't know whether it's ever going to work any more than me so if I want to try some things they don't normally suggest, wouldn't you give it a go. They have such the scientist mentality that if its not been proven in clinical trials then it's not the answer. That angle is understandable but is infuriating when nothing they has worked that they thought so far.
@jackdemps thanks for the info, how long did you give up chicken for? I'm a very big fan of chicken and recently actually thought of that being something perhaps I could cut right back on, so funny you have mentioned it.
@leyshoja fruck honey how bloody annoying!! I had a fibroid when pregnant with ivf and nobody was concerned, think it was intramural too but not certain.
Soooooooooooo, I resigned today!!! I checked my bosses calendar and she appeared to be booked out all day Thursday and Friday so I bit the bullet and chose today. Plus this commute is frucking killing me! I'm no longer home in time for the antiques roadshow
So I played it sensibly, my business is the same industry so I thought better of going hard. But I through some points in there about being in hospital and realizing if this all turned bad how angry I would be at myself for working there. She got it. She was nice about it and said not working might get me pregnant, she'd seen it happen. So all good and DH and I are having some Shiraz and chocolate in celebration. I can't believe I'm out of there, it's all not real yet. But boy, I won't miss much about it that's for sure, maybe not actually anything, well except the pay. That says it all doesn't it.
Can an you tell I'm happy??

Something about the hormones in chicken.

Blonde you always find the coolest emojis! I love those 2 clinking drinks! Awesome! Yep good effin riddance indeed!
@Skyler, it's taken me a looooong time to get here, I've had quitting fantasies for probably 3.5 years! But as nervous as it made me to send the initial "I need to talk to you today" I felt I had no choice now. The time had come. I used to change jobs every 1.5-2 years but since this infertility crap I've been held there by fear of getting pregnant/doing ivf etc etc. the whole time there I've been going through pain grief and loss. Time to take control of things back and do things how I want to do them.

Good on you @tuxcat and good riddance to them. Time to celebrate
AFM I'm wondering if the vitamin D or B12 could have anything to do with the fibroids. That's the only different thing with this cycle??

My FS said we'd only remove them if they were causing issues as it's more risky to your fertility to have surgery, than it is to have fibroids.
Dr W at CFC was not at all concerned about mine.
