No we didn't mind being somewhere quieter, its only a 10 min drive in easy traffic to the V&A

thanks all. yes, 3 more is good. not sure I can take many more after that anyway as they take a lot out of you as you all know. Leisylou, not sure yet about DE. I saw that program too. I've read if you tell the kids about it early on, it's better for them. I'm not sure yet how I feel about it. I guess I have this year to think more. and save up. DP and I only met in 2012, when I was 42 at the end of that year. I think I did have a couple of very early chemical pregnancies naturally prior to starting IVF. I think if we'd met when I was late 30s & trying to conceive ~39/40 we could have had better luck. will never know for sure I guess. and yes, if all these fail, I still have hope for the frostie. I'm glad that last FET cycle was canceled as I don't think it would have survived the post-op/recovery (and possibly even previous cycles could have been at risk, had they been successful too & I was pregnant at the time of the op. at least, there would have been more complications)

@winsor, why don't you use that frosty now? You'll only lose 1 month and it could save you heaps.

we just didn't plan it in time. af arrived already this week so I don't think there's time to arrange my plan. I wasn't sure which would be due date due to the double bleed last month during op. and my head didn't start clearing enough to think about it till about a week and a bit ago. and that's when I requested the move to new clinic. if things delay too much we can try it earlier in a month or so

    Hi everyone,

Well I had a second blood test last Thursday and HCG was doubling nicely. Jumped from 905 to 19,000 in a week. I had a viability scan today and initially the radiographer couldn't find a heartbeat. She asked about my blood works and said she would have another look and by some miracle hidden way down she found a flicker. heartbeat 110bpm measuring 6wks1day which is 1 day behind. From initially devastation to utter disbelief in the space of four minutes. A tear or two were shed. I saw my FS who was happy with the results and offered me another scan in a couple of weeks just because. (I am going through the bulk billing IVF clinic in Sydney called Primary)

Feeling a little more optimism after today.

Fudge delighted to hear you are pregnant officially,

    Killarneygirl way to go! Congratulations!
Would have been better had the sonographer kept her comments to herself for a while to save you the initial heart attack!
