    Default Childcare

So my girls got into the childcare we were on the waiting list for today! I was a bit overwhelmed when I went to do another inspection/tour and forgot to ask.. how hardcore do I label everything? Like jumpers Tupperware drink bottles I get but do I really need to do shoes shirts ect? Can you get tags made or do you write on everything with a texta? Sorry I feel silly asking but have never had to do any of this stuff

Label every single item! I have lost way too much stuff! I either use labels but often use a sharpie if I'm in a hurry

I bought iron on labels, they're great! Yep label everything, we often get random un-labeled clothes sent home with our daughter but as far as I know, nothing of ours has been lost.

Definitely label everything! It is basically impossible to remember every single childs socks, spare clothes and other misc bits when there are up to 25 kids in a room, worse when there are multiple rooms. Not to mention there is often more than one child with the exact same item. If you dont want to lose it, it needs a label.

Yep. Right down to labelling socks and shoes. We have had random stuff come home in ds's bag. I check his every pick up so everything is accounted for

I only labelled his drink bottle ( food was provided) we never lost anything, however DS is obsessive about losing stuff and made me check his bag every time we left! I've been more careful to label everything for school though as there's a lot more kids all wearing the same uniform.

I never labelled a damn thing. Coz I'm a rebel well, actually because I'm lazy... Label anything you really really don't want to lose, I suppose. I just send my kids in op shop clothes, we've had a few things go missing but no biggie. Saved me the bother of labeling everything.

I only label drink bottles and hats.

I don't label clothes because she has "daycare" clothes which to be honest get trashed so no one wants them!

I have never lost anything yet or have I received anything that wasn't ours (DH does pick ups and wouldn't have a clue if it was ours or not)
