When did you realise you were going to spend the rest of your life with your partner?

At what moment did you realise you were going to spend the rest of your life ...
Spend the rest of your life doing what? Am I missing part of the title??
Eta- all I can see is "at what point did you realise you were going to spend the rest of you life with you" lol

I didnt have a big 'falling in love' moment. Juat a series of choices. I decided over time to love him and be with him even when I dont 'feel' love for him - for me, love isnt so much a feeling, but a decision and a choice. I think I'm not particularly romantic!

After I'd known him about a week I turned to my brother and said "You mark my words, I'm going to spend the rest of my life with that man".
That was 17 years ago and it's been the best 17 years of my life

Well - the rest of my life will hopefully be a long time - and I will hopefully be speding it with DH - but you never know what will happen. I knew that we were destined for each other about a week into our relationship - he says it was love at first sight (naw...!) We have been together 14 years and I hope for many more happy years to come.

As cliche as it sounds. I knew the moment I met my DH. From that first date we have hardly been apart.

I can't even remember
But right now, I can say I'm with the perfect person for me.

I knew when I met him that he was important to my life. We didn't start going out for another 5 months. There was one night that I knew if I went to the party that was on I would end up with him (it was just a gut feeling, I didn't do anything to make it happen) and I decided to go. We've been together 7 years now so we still have a lot of life left to get through.

Hmmm I'm not sure if there was really a moment. We met at work as teens so were friends for quite a while before we realised that we both really liked each other. I think because I was so young and it was my first serious relationship, I didn't really know how things should progress so things just naturally happened between us until I realised that we were inseparable.
Though his dad maintains that the first time he met me and saw us together, he knew we'd get married and be together forever.
