We are in mini CBD so it's quite dear but we pay to not have more than a 10 minute drive to work. Work life balance is important to me and will be even more so when we have a family. I'd love for @BeautyOfTheSoul to be able to be SAHM and whilst we might not be able to afford it with number 1 due to us both paying off new cars, her personal loan and wanting to save for a home deposit etc we should be able to swing it for the 2nd bub. We will hopefully at that point have no debt other than a mortgage. Who really ever knows what to expect in life?! Right now we could use our savings for a deposit but we need it for IVF so that's more important for us at this time 😊

Living expenses are crazy at times. I'd love to buy a house but I've just been approved for carers payment which means I can only work up to 25 hours a week. Getting a loan on that will be near impossible.

I was actually out living around Bribie Island. We were flooded in two whole weeks before the huge floods came in due to tides and such. Bubba boy was only 9 months I think, due to his refulx and colic I had him on formula still, had to get a tin airlifted in, was surprised how responsful the ses were as I thought everyone else had bigger issues than us...
CompletelySavvy Thursday nights and Saturdays are the craziest!!! I work full time hours its exhausting sometimes but I find those are the two biggest/crazy filled days!!! I get to slowly work up to those days.... I commend you for even doing it! It'd be hard going from a nice calm week to straight into those shifts!!!

Decided tonight that I won't put ttc on hold as "just incase he asks for my hand" could take a while.
Also decided my perfect month to fall pregnant, early November. I know it doesn't work like that though. My body won't do what it's supposed to do. I wonder how far PP you have to be to get a doctor/FS to take you seriously.
