Default Toddler outfit for an autumn wedding

We're going to a wedding on the NSW South Coast next month so it will be a bit cool. The ceremony is at 2 pm so it could be great weather but will be cooler by the reception time. My thoughts are that I could get a dress that looks good with stockings and a cardigan for my 2yo so she can wear no stockings for the ceremony then add them for the reception, but then what about shoes? Shoes that look cute with stockings (Mary Jane style) don't look great without stockings for the ceremony.

So what would / have you dressed your daughter in for an autumn afternoon wedding?

What about a little pair of socks for the ceremony? Still look cute with the mary janes and not too hot for you DD.
