Quiet night and more than likely a quiet weekend. Found out a friend is having a party tomorrow night and i am the only one not invited in our group of friends. Makes me feel fantastic. Guess its time to give up on those friends as i am let down constantly by them. Feels like i am a last minute person to them. I asked them beginning of feb if they wanted to do dinner and drinks for my birthday. They said they were busy. Come my birthday, i was out and they asked me to go over. No thanks.

A screaming 1 year old who won't self settle and has now turned to biting and kicking at bed time. Anyone wanna swap?

On another note we are going to a nice fundraising day this weekend for a domestic violence victims children. It's nice seeing how the local community has rallied around this family.

Hoping on nothing. My car is leaking power steering fluid. So I am trying not to drive it much. The estimate it's going to cost $1000 to fix it. So there goes any fun for the next few months.

I'm about to go back in to feed DS. He was messing about earlier so I put him down and he's been chatting away. Well until now, he's getting a bit antsy.

I hear you @LoveLivesHere, today was the end of week 2 of 3 of working full time - I don't know how I did it pre-baby, I'm exhausted! I'm hanging out for April because it means I'm back to part time work.

Right now, I'm waiting for my little miss to go to bed so I can turn the lounge room light on to write my meal plan for the next week. Grocery shopping in the morning, then a baby shower in the afternoon. I'm pretty sure I have something on Sunday but can't quite remember what now!

You let your son go to bed while he eats a packet of Allen's Party Mix? Best mum ever! :-p

I am doing something similar - except it's NCC Snakes, M&Ms Mystery Mix and Orange is the New Black.

Tonight is the 13th night straight of solo parenting and even though DS is sleeping through for 11-12 hours every night I am totally exhausted. I need respite and down time which I will get tomorrow. I am hanging for it :-)
