I pushed through and tolerated the girl with the dragon tattoo and then decided not read the rest. Now I'm wondering if I should get hornets nest?!

I also second John marsden. He was my literary hero through my teens. Any of his book but especially the tomorrow series (used to daydream I was Ellie, being a farm girl and all ) and Checkers.

Also want to add Montana 1945. Can't remember the author but it was one of our literary study books in year 12 and I still enjoy reading it.

I LOVED We Need To Talk About Kevin but I don't think I could ever read it again...

I also forgot about The Outsiders, anything by Lois Lowry, and Danny the Champion of the World. I mostly read young adult books

Am I breaking the rules here or can I just keep randomly posting?

Please tell me you didn't a) know all the items mentioned already or b) look them up online... You did, didn't you?!

I just remembered The Wheel of Time series. Amaaaaazing.

And Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrel.

    And Space Demons.

    And The Crucible.

And the first 7/8 of The Lovely Bones.

    I think I'm finally done.
