    Def depends a lot on the area. Areas near the freeway are more expensive because it's a short easy drive into town. Mt Barker is growing and has a lot of new properties so the prices there are better. The further and more rural the prices come down but then the property size grows considerably. We have family dotted throughout the hills and we love it there

    Yeah, bushfire risk/preparation is one of the reasons I'd prefer not to live in the hills. DP reckons it's worth it though.
    @A-Squared... I dunno, there are plenty of snakes and spiders in suburbia if you know where to look!

    Would also love to move to property in the hills one day when we can afford acreage!

    Sian's diamond designs - fantastic cakes and not expensive - she did our wedding cake $200 for cake big enough for 200 people!

    Skysies cakes is amazing, she can be found on facebook. She did my brother in laws wedding cake on the weekend. Best cake ive ever esten!

    Skysies cakes there are few more but I can't think of them now. Do u attend the markets like at the lollipop ones etc usually have cake makers there.

    Default Adelaide Hubbers

    I had my wedding cake made through bittersweet patisserie, they also do birthday cakes. They're in Burnside shops and in Grange. They were the cheapest and yummiest cakes we could find.
