@StillHopeful , we had come to terms with using a donor and the 1/2 was just a last ditch effort that we knew wouldn't work. We were fine with our decision until they started giving us the wrong info and I guess after the shock wears off we will feel at peace with our decision again.
Good luck with your bloods. I hope the morning sickness doesn't show her ugly head.

@Ree888 How are you handling the 2ww? It is enough to make the sanest person feel completely nuts! Always looking for signs and symptoms lol. Any thing nice planned to help pass the time?
@mummymaybe Hi! I do believe I have been following your journey on the IVF facebook group! I lurk and comment on there but don’t really post as I know someone in there and didn’t want anything shared lol. Wow, it sounds like there was a lot of confusion there! Infertility is the pits but hopefully that hatching blastocyst is a sticky one. Best of luck xo
@MrsChino I totally agree – another catch up is in order! Hopefully we can get more people along and share the bird poop love
@Heyside I hope time flies and your appointment comes around quickly. I hate that there is always so much waiting for this that and the other with this caper hey.
@infinity888 Welcome! I don’t really have any tips for implantation. I just followed the instructions the clinic gave me but this time around I had acupuncture both before and after transfer. It was honestly the most relaxing day I have ever had and the transfer went perfectly. Good luck x
@keiko I am totally all over what feels like prolonged jabbing (21 days last time, 19 days the time before) and have heard of coasting but don’t really know much about it. PCOS is a royal pain in the behind!
@ducky wow epu came around fast! Woohoo! It all sounds so good right about now. Now sit back and let that bird poop keep working its magic lol!
@MamaMell Hooray for being PUPO! Wishing you a very speedy 2 weeks x
@StillHopeful It is kind of scary when you suddenly feel fine! I’m sure you’ll feel like poop later on and kick yourself lol. Can’t wait to hear your 2nd beta results! This is the one lovely xoxo
Afm, one of the nurses called yesterday and said I could go for my 1st beta today (13dp5dt) so now the anxious wait for the call. More concerned about Friday’s beta. This is where we found out something was off last time so I’m a bit nervous. I made dh go and buy more tests so I could poas and make sure Marshmallow was still there lol. I think I have used about 11 of those things? Also discovered that the line is always darker the 2nd pee of the day, not the first. Who knew.

@BecT - Yay for BT today! Wishing you all the best for a great number!! As for me and the TWW - ah I'm handling it...googling like mad, I baked yesterday as I needed a pick-me-up when I found out I can't have BT until next Saturday. I have a photoshoot booked that afternoon and its a pretty big deal for me. First paid shoot on my own, and I made it that day as I thought I'd have an answer a little earlier and could grieve before picking myself back up again. Now it'll be the same day...ugh. So I ate some yummy carrot cake which helped a little :-). Off to visit my grandparents today, maybe a trip to the beach before the end of the week since the weathers so beautiful.

Good luck for your BT results @StillHopeful and @BecT !!!!! Let us know as soon as you find out.
Thats a pretty high first number @StillHopeful - imagine if it has split into two! Omg!
@MrsChino - 1 more sleep! Will be good to know what's in store for you.
@Ree888 - baking solves most things I find and carrot cake has vegetables in it so is basically a health food. I think you need to POAS before getting a BT phone call before your first big job- it could be too much for one day!!!
@mummymaybe - hope you guys are feeling better today- I guess it's kind of a bittersweet feeling? Just focus on the fact you have one in there and 2 in the freezer which is by far the best outcome you have had and it will mean you shouldn't need to stim again.
I can definitely start to feel the action, still can't believe it will only be a bit over a week of stims and bam EPU on Monday. Of course I overanalyse and wonder if this is a good or bad thing or if it genuinely doesn't matter and it just matters that they are big enough. Who knows in this crazy caper! Those menopur manufacturers need sharper needles. I'm actually having moments of Tourette's where I will burst out a few obscenities trying to get the needle in.
Im keen for another catch up- I seem to be in brisbane every other day at the moment! Normally at silly early hours though listening to wazzas country music radio station in his waiting room.
Have a good day ladies- and yes enjoy this amazing weather!! Nice sun without the humidity. It's gotta be good baby making weather. Right?!?!

Oooh good luck today @BecT! Let us know when you hear back. Fingers crossed for a good solid number (and rising numbers on Friday too).
@mummymaybe How are you feeling after yesterday's shock love? I can imagine it would take some time for you and your DH to get your heads around the rollercoaster of the past few days.
@Ree888 Great news about your photo shoot, despite the unfortunate timing! It's amazing the things we manage to get through sometimes, even though our minds are on other things.

Ah @Ducky01 I think I cross posted with you. Yes I hate the menopur needles too! Blunt little f***kers. Great that you are feeling action - and I reckon a quick stim's a good stim! If they are ready to go, then it doesn't matter if it's early in the piece.
Afm, 1 sleep to go! I have already printed off my 1 million questions and dot point summary of my history so far all ready to go. At this rate he is going to think I am some kind of a crazy obsessed ivf lady. Oh wait....

@mummymaybe sorry to hear! How very confusing, completely agree both you and dp could've been happy with the donor embryos- but to find out before transfer and having have had different information is harsh. BUT on the positive side, you are PUPO and I do believe once that child is here it won't matter who it's from. It will be raised, nurtured and showered in love. And you actually have some in the freezer too- that is amazing. But fingers crossed this will be it.
@BecT yay for BT day. for some amazing numbers for you as well. Hoping your second BT comes around quickly and doubles perfectly so some of this stress can ease just a little bit. And the Pee sticks are getting darker too- so thats fantastic news
@MamaMell congrats on being PUPO. I'm sorry I think I've missed that update somewhere! It's getting harder to keep up.
@Ree888 oh carrot cake is definitely healthy - carrots are healthy ha ha! A trip to the beach sounds lovely - I might just do that too and get some soaking in VIT D. It's such a gorgeous time of the hear without humidity - i just wish it stayed like this, I HATE summer......... Definitely a good time of the year to make babies! We need to keep this roll of BFP's going.
@Ducky01 gosh these dam menopur needles are terribly blunt. You'd think someone could've surely given us SHARPER ones! The orgalutran ones are blunt too- they popped out twice on me before...probably because I'm more used to injecting others than myself! He he. Are you having a few days off after EPU? Since you are working crazy hours this week? Country music in wazza's rooms? Ha ha, that would be so.. different. LOL.
@MrsChino YAYYYYYY the day has nearly arrived. I have been impatiently waiting with you. I called their clinic yesterday as I just remembered a date and not the actual time and sort of asked what my chances were with a cancellation appt and when he was going away. He's going away next week!!! Is that going to impact you cycling?
Sorry If I forgot anyone!

@Ree888 typical that bloid test day would fall on your shoot day. I second poas before hand Mind you, I've peed on like, 11 the past 2 weeks so... lol
@MrsChino hooray for 1 more sleep! I bet they are used to crazy ivf ladies lol. Look forward to hearing all about it
Thanks @keiko! Latest stick pic coming right up! I think i have gone mad haha
