Now that Frugal February is over I thought I would having a 'no spend month', might as well start it now as we aren't that far into March.
I am by no means a frugal person, I spend money quite regularly on things that I probably really don't need however now that I am a single mum and paying off debt whilst trying to save I thought it might help if people joined in with me, that way I am some what held accountable if I over spend on silly things, we might all have tips for each other as well on how to save money on day to day things.
Is anyone willing to join me?

I'm in!! Df and I are in the process of cutting down a lot of our outgoing expenses at the moment as we really need to get our debt under control if we want to buy a house soon.

Debt is such a pain isn't it! But imagining what it will be like debt free keeps me semi- motivated.

I'm in. I think I can manage not to buy anything this month. Aside from groceries, obviously or we'd all lose some serious weight as well as manage our finances!

That's cool though, Im sure the kids are loving it .
I haven't spent anything the last few days except $50 on some groceries, hoping to get through the week without spending much at all as I want to distribute the left over money from this pay onto some bills.

I am in! Hubby and I are in the process of saving for a house deposit. We are moving next month to a cheaper rental to help with the saving. Bring it on!

I'm in! Like you OP, Now a single mum with bills to pay plus trying to save (god help us!) I determined not to shop for the next 2 WEEKS minimum. Theres enough food & cooked/frozen meals to do us for 2 weeks minimum.. might need bread & milk top up but thats it. No more excuses.
