Day 62/63: work days. Busy busy but time flew.
Day 64: clean flannelette sheets!!!
Day 65: took dd to a restaurant for brunch. So well behaved. A clean vacuumed house, and DH mowed the lawn.

I hate being away from these two but I'm so happy that I have such great friends looking out for them.

Happy to have a day just chilling out with my family.
Finally got some mindless uni work done. Haha
Took ds to occasional care for orientation and he looks like he will settle in fine. The carers even commented on how happy he is (and it wasn't a particularly happy day for him).
Some uni work I've been working on looks like it will be easier & quicker than I thought.
Managed to catch some sunshine and hang out at the park with ds.
Almost missed storytime. Lucky last parking spot!
Ds finally asleep! Now for me time.
Think I had caught up.

Dd coming home from MILs and saying "Happy Mother's Day!!!"
(DH had been coaching her and they were practicing on the drive home)
It absolutely made my day even though I think she had no comprehension of what she was saying lol!

it was so lovely to see all the happy mothers day wishes going around fb between my family and friends. just spreading the love. I had a nice afternoon tea treat with my daughter and our darling little granddaughters. followed by a dinner on the way home at a Turkish restaurant. I hope everyone has had a nice mothers day, but I know from reading other threads, not everyone will have. hugs, marie.
