i forget to count the days, but im here and that is what matters. work seems to be going much smoother now. we have had two employees just up and quit, no notice, no contact. two other employees on long term workers compensation. it has been a real struggle for the last two/ three months, but now we have new employees who are just going so well. it is so nice to be able to relax and know the work is getting through without dramas. so this is me. marie.

I finally cracked at work and told a couple of close girlfriends at work I'm pregnant (I think 8 weeks today? Not entirely sure lol). Starting to seem more real now and getting a tiny bit excited.

Day 7: my boss is being supportive and understanding. She's letting me come in late tomorrow (with one day's notice) so I can take possum to the nurse to chat about feeding issues.

Day 7: DP will be home soon. When he gets here, he won't bat an eyelid at taking over completely with DD and letting me sit and do absolutely nothing.

First time in front of the entire staff group since I came back from parental leave.

Day 7. I had a migraine last night so wasn't feeling great this morning. My wonderful DH took the day off and looked after DD so I could rest. I didn't even have to ask him to. I got a two hour nap, he did baby duty and the washing. Definitely a happy making event.
