    Default Clomid failed what next

Im so depressed today. We are ttc number 2 and with number 1 I got pregnant with 50mg clomid but this time that, didnt work so went to 100mg and that worked but no pregnancy. Im doing 6 rounds then doc said come back. Temp dropped twice now so expecting af today.

So what is next after 6 cycles? I dont want to do ivf I dont have the strength. I just feel so defeated and want to just give up (deep down I dont)
    This is really hard

It's an awful feeling isn't it.
The best advice I can give you is take it one day at a time. You have another 5 clomid cycles before you will need to move on. Hopefully it won't come to that.
Your options after that are iui or ivf.
Iui is where they take your partners sample, spin it to make it "clean" then they inseminate you with it when you are ovulating. This is far less invasive than ivf.
    Hope that helps

Okay. So on 5th cycle of 100mg clomid. It could go a few ways depending on your specialist. Are you having day21 BTs to check if you're ovulating?

    Here's one scenario...

Sometimes they add a trigger to clomid to help with ovulation.

After 6 cycles they do recommend that you take 6 months break from that drug.

You can go and have a few more bloods done - check anything that may hinder the process of falling and staying pregnant.

Can book in for a laparoscopy/hycosy and have a good ol' flush out, check the tubes, etc.

Can then try a few more rounds of clomid, but then if it doesn't work they will offer iui or ivf depending on which part isn't working.

Thank you. I did have a lap last time then got bfp so I might just ask for one again in hopes that was why.. Would rather not have surgery though.. Ah it's so hard
