Hello mums, mums to be and families! I am a student at ACU in Melbourne studying a bachelor of midwifery, I'm also a mum and have another one on the way! As part of our degree we are required to support a number of women and families throughout their pregnancy journey! The amount of support is individual and up to you. I can attend appointments with you, help interpret some of the information you receive, support you at your labour and birth and for 6 weeks after you have had your baby.
I am in my second year at uni and have been privileged to attend and support a number of women both in this supportive 'continuity of care experience' as well as in a hospital birth suite and in the post natal ward.
I can personally vouch for the value of this program as I had a student for my first pregnancy and currently have a student with my second!
Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions. I live in Hawthorn but am happy to travel a reasonable distance, which can be discussed.
