    Default has anyone done a 12 week challenge at the gym?

    what is it like? how many times do you have to attend? and how did your body/weight change? thx!!

    Yes I have in the past, I have found them very beneficial.

    I would work out 6 days per week whilst on a challenge. Not necessarily always at the gym. Home work outs can also do the trick, but definitely making an effort to exercise for at least 30-60mins 6 times per week.

    The first challenge I ever did I lost 14kg in the 12 weeks.

    Thats great! Good on you for losing that much! Do u remember how many gym sessions a wk are required?

    What gym are you doing the challenge with? If anything like the challenges I have done, you will have to have one personal training session per week, there's also normally one group training session per week, and/or a seminar or something. Other than that it's up to you and your trainer, but 6 days per week of exercise is generally the go, and your trainer should also give you a food plan and/or have you write a food diary etc.

    Not a gym one but I started the Kayla Itsines 12 weeks body challenge before and after my wedding. I found that in such a short time (and I wasnt really doing the weeks properly or following her meal plan thingy) my body strengthened and toned itself dramatically. I stopped shortly after my wedding because I fell pregnant/morning sickness/no energy. I cant wait to start it again after bub arrives though.

    I was thinking maybe with goodlife gym but if anyone else has any other suggestions for northside of Brisbane that would be great.

    goodlife is my gym (but I'm on the other side of bris). I absolutely love it. Highly recommended.
