I need inspiration. Show me a picture of your couches, recliners, lounge suites, sofas.
Our lounge died, was in horrible condition so we got rid and have some occasional chairs but they aren't very good. Want to buy a new couch preferably leather. Would love to have some recommendations and something that'll last the distance with 3 kids but not overly expensive.
So show me your lounges or recommendations?

Where are you? I have a great recommendation but only for Perth.

Sorry just checked your profile - Perth doesn't help.

We just bought a new one and i had very specific things i wanted.
1. ALL the cushions have to be removable...so i can vacuum under it all.
2. ALL covers have to be removable...so i can wash them.
3. 2 and 3 seater, one for DH and i and one for the kids.
4. it has to be raised slightly off the ground so i can reach under for dropped toys and cleaning under it.
5. It has to have some kind of care plan or treatment to keep it clean.
6. not black but not too light either...dark grey or the likes.
7. no poofy cushions
8.preferably leather or the likes so it can be easily wiped down.
We looked a a few and werent happy with them. we finally found the perfect one that checked all but the last box but we got 'insurance' for any accidental damage..spills, rips, stains anything. Even if one of our animals pees on it, they will clean it. if it cant be cleaned they will replace it. 5 years for $199. Then once the 5 years is up, we can do another 5 years for $199 and so on.
We found it at furniture bazzar. all up with the insurance and delivery $1800. We are paying it off over 3 months so not too bad i thought.

This is our brand new addition - full leather and around 3m each way. We have a massive federation era house (renovators delight haha!) and the rooms are oddly shaped with so it was tricky. Retails for $4700 new - picked it up for $1200 off Gumtree and it is in perfect condition and was used in a show home!
