    Question/update


    I have an under active thyroid, if I start my pills would it effect any future tests I take?


    And the doctor refuses to do anything until I've actually missed AF, ((because their urine test came back neg))
    so I don't want to risk anything,just in case.

    UPDATE--

    Took two more dollar tests; one of them is a possible positive, it's hard to distinguish but looks like it has pink in it.

    The other definite BFN. Could still be too early; waiting until after the 6th to re test

    sorry, but that looks like an evap line to me. I've had evap lines with colour before, so the colour/no colour thing isn't always true. FRER have gotten especially bad with having coloured evap lines lately fyi... but only if you look after the time limit.

    On the ICs, i can always see an evap line when I'm not pregnant. This time though, (I'm about 5 weeks now), the first positive was almost invisible it was so faint, but i knew it wasn't an evap because the test line had the same thickness as the control line. Evap lines tend to be very thin.

    Oh, so I'll give you a quick run down on the differences I noticed for me:

    evap line: thin, often (but not always) colourless, shows up after the time limit, when you shine a bright light on it you can no longer see it.

    Positive line: as thick as the control line, pink in colour, shows up within the time limit, when you shine a bright light on it you can still see it and sometimes it is easier to see in bright light.

    Well, I still have a week before I'm supposed to get definite positives so fingers crossed. But thanks for the information.
