I know that SJOG Midland hospital doesn't open until later this year, but does anyone know anything about the maternity services that will be offered?
Thanks in advance 😊

They appear to have taken the maternity info they had off of their website, but it used to say that they were opening in Nov 2015 (at which point Swan Districts will close), and they would have both public & private options for maternity with obstetrics, antenatal & postnatal care. I remember it saying that they would deliver babies born after 34 weeks as well, so they'll probably have the same relationship with KEMH that Swans does (i.e, send you there if bub is going to be prem, or you're high risk). Same catchment area for public patients as well, I presume.
I'm hoping to have next bub there I liked it at Swans.

I fell pregnant again a little ahead of schedule and am due December 7, but I'm not pinning my hopes on actually giving birth at the new hospital. One because my last baby came early so that may happen again, and also because these things tend to run behind schedule so while they've put November 24 on everything, it's not really guaranteed.
