Red face Attention fashionistas!! I need some advice.

I have a very comfy work business shirt, the problem is the colour. It can only be described as 'old lady apricot'. The shirt is as plain as they come, short sleeve, very bland. I would usually wear it with a black pant suit. Now I can jazz it up with a snazzy necklace but I was wondering if there were any other ideas how I could make this shirt a bit less 'old lady apricot' and a bit more 'wow!'.

Is there any way to put some tasteful embellishments on the collar?

    Any suggestions??

I'd stick to accent jewellery in a contrasting colour rather than adding anything to the collar, maybe try a turquoise necklace or earrings or some dramatic yellow gold jewellery for some retro chic.

I'm certain that I don't qualify as a fashionista but I think the above is good advice. Maybe also go to a make up counter and see if they can give you some ideas on lipstick colours.

A cute cropped demin vest or jacket, a pair of cool sunnies on top of your head, a really unique long skirt.

I also agree with the accent jewlery.
