We were driving this morning and saw a car driving erratically. Im talking, all over the road, crossing lanes, speeding up, slowing down and the driver actually looked like he was slumped over in his seat.
I first though was to just get the hell away from him but then he pulled up next to us at the lights and i saw two children in the back. A child of about 6years not in a car seat and a baby about 12 months in a car seat.
Well, my whole body just went nuts. I slammed my car into park, jumped out and opened his passenger door. I said 'Mate, are you ok?'. He was clearly high or drunk or both so i grabbed the park break and pulled it on. I told him to get the hell out of his car, he has kids in there and he going to end up killing them.
Thankfully he listened to me. I stopped the traffic so he could get on the side of the road and call someone. He called his wife and i spoke to her while DH helped him move his car to the side of the road.
The poor kids in the back were terrified so i calmed them down and said daddy wasnt feeling well so mummy was coming.
He started yelling at his kids saying 'I told you i couldnt drive'. WTF. If you know you cant drive WHY THE HELL ARE YOU!!!
All i can say is thank god he did listen to me and pull over. All i could think of was those babies in the car.

Oh my goodness, thank goodness you were brave enough to act! Good on you for that! I'm so glad those kiddies are safe. Did you report him though? Regardless, the kids are safe and that's the main thing. There really are some horrible parenting decisions being made out there. It's sad. Not only did he endanger his own children but everyone else on the road.
